Emma Anticoli Borza studied law and graduated from La Sapienza University in Rome.
She started her career working for the HR department of an industrial company in Milan.
From an early age she has been attracted to art and pursued her dream by taking drawing, painting and nude courses at the
Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and a book illustration course in Macerata.
Emma Anticoli Borza has exhibited her works in a number of European art galleries. Several of her paintings can be found in
private collections not only in Italy but abroad as well.
At present she is also known both as a writer and illustrator of books for children fact that testifies her fascination with the
universe of their innocence. “La valise d’Osvaldo” and “La tailleuse de nuages” were published in Brussels by Versant Sud
Jeunesse in April 2017 and November 2018 respectively. Since 2016 she has been collaborating with DEMANUMEA, an
Italian brand that creates unique handmade purses. By painting purses she proves once more her versatility and artistic skills.
She is living in Bucharest and working between Bucharest and Rome.
